So it's only a month left and last season of Dexter begins. Any expectations? Like Michael C. Hall suggests in this interview with Conan O'Brien , I wouldn't mind 12 episodes of possible finale www.youtube.com/watch?v=hENKlm03uII

they could go so many ways with it, but i see him finally getting caught (the trailers make it seem like Deb turns him in) and we see his downfall and breakdown in the final episodes. i dont know if it will end with his death or with him on the run, but hes not getting away this season.
id also like to add i was watching six feet under season 5 last week and in one of the episodes "empty spaces" was being played at claire's boyfriend's ted's house. she then asked him "what is this, christian music?" which he replied "yes"..
ARGH

On the way to that, Deb will break down (as we already saw in some trailers), it will almost destroy her what and who she became and who Dex really is, but she'll survive.

I think the only logical thing they can do (even though this show has so many holes I can hardly call it logical ) is try to loop back to the beginning of the show. So either Dexter gets killed or they end it with showing how Harrison is going to turn out dark, just like his father. Those are the only to realistic options to me.

At the moment the scriptwriters made Deb shoot La Guerta my reaction was: oh no, this is all gonna end really bad (for the show). But I still count on an unexpected end, some kind of surprise, something less predictible than putting Dexter on an electric chair. For sure if there were crimes, there will be punishment, even if they let the audience like Dexter - the serial killer.
I am also curious about Harrison's future.
From what I saw from the trailers there will be a new character, a shrink who's interested in serial killers, so maybe she'll be the one exposing Dexter... or maybe she'll be the next villain.

On a sidenote, I still think it's brilliant they named Dexter's kid Harrison (Harry's son)

Looks like they're trying to tie it back to the origin (which we saw in flashbacks in seasons 1 & 2). Predictable but smart move.
