I'm not as creative as some of you guys. So instead of writing my own poems, I steel them from others ;D And I call them "quotes"
I really like reading nice quotes. So I thought: why not create a thread for it? And here it is! Feel free to post any quote that you like. It can be a funny quote, an inspirational quote, a sad quote, any quote really. You can get one from books, movies, speeches, and of course (Lifehouse) songs.
Anyhow, here's the first quote, and one of my favorites:
"Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know, so it goes on flying anyway."

Understanding, love and encouragement. No one should feel alone" From mister Bryce Soderberg! That quote is brilliant! Hahaha... as I was reading it back I was thinking wow... I've HEARD that one recently. lol Then I remembered Bryce tweeted that. When I read that on twitter, I wanted to give Bryce a big hug. I think Bryce has some awesome things to say to the world and should do so more often. This world needs a little Canadian wisdom from time to time. lol .... I had to retweet that and I was very proud of our bass player for putting himself out there like that. And maybe that helped someone who needed a little boost. I really respected him for that comment. Thanks for highlighting that Lynn! It made my heart swell with pride for my Nordic broham. I am a big sucker for quotes too... love that bumblebee one! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And I agree, it was totally awesome of him to share that with the world! While I like the Robinson quote, I'm LOVING the Dalai Lama quote! I have many many many quotes that I really like. Ash i hate to do this, but the science side of me must tell you that it is not true and that bumblebees should be able to fly. that's just an old wives tale that somehow never dies... i do love the idea/concept behind the quote though (and this thread!). |

I figured it was too good to be true that of all species the bumble bee would be the one to defy the laws of science  I still like the quote and I like bumble bees too. |
