I just found out about this! Very cool! I wonder if all the celebrity nominees will actually be there? I had never heard of these awards before, I don't think. I've always wondered why they've never performed on any awards shows.

Here's details on how to get in if you're in the LA area:
VH1 & The Do Something Awards are looking for HUGE Lifehouse fans in the LA Area to be a part of the show and watch the band perform LIVE!
The Vh1 Do Something Awards is about to rock the world as we know it on July 19th at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
This show will honor the best young world-changers, who represent the pivotal do-ers of our time. These change-makers are the ones who see the need to do something, believe in their ability to get it done, and then take action.
The VH1 Do Something Awards celebrates this new generation: dedicated to doing good, not simply dreaming about it. Pop culture has finally caught up with a population that has been extolling the virtue, importance and fun of activism.
The Show will also feature a performance by Lifehouse, and we want their biggest LA Fans there to support them!
The show is airing LIVE on VH1 on July 19th in Hollywood. Exact details will be given upon being confirmed. Please be in the LA area on July 19th before you respond to this exclusive invite! Also, please be available ALL day before submitting. We don’t know exact call times yet.

I can't wait. It seems like Lifehouse is the perfect band for this gig. I hope we get to hear more than one song, but even if it's only one....I just know it's going to be fantabulous!!!

For some reason I feel guilty about recording it and fast forwarding through it later LOL. I just don't really want to watch the whole thing. I wonder if they'll sit in the audience? If so I wouldn't want to miss them showing them sitting out there. You know, how they always show the celebrities randomly during a show like that. lol...

I really loved seeing them perform in that setting! It was so great. It looks like there were quite a few fans there who know the song! When George Lopez came out I thought for sure he was going to introduce them, lol. They were awesome as usual. I'm sorry, but I have to say this...Jason should never wear that shirt again. Ever. lol. My apologies to those who liked it. lol. Oh, and I forgot to mention how I loved how they played the Allstate commercial after they performed! Well, not right after...lol. But anyway, I hadn't seen it in awhile. It always hits me. And I also love how they showed some footage from the music video of Jason playing the guitar and mentioned them teaming up with Allstate. I'm glad they did that, because I bet there are a lot of people who didn't know they did the song on that commercial. Love it. |

^Hahaha noooo!! haha! Well it would have been one thing if they were outside and it was hot...which they weren't and it wasn't! lol. If he was going to go sleeveless, he should have borrowed one of Ben's shirts. I would have liked that better. I know how Jason always wonders what I'm going to think when he puts on a shirt. LOL. Maybe it's the style I don't like. Or that I don't think of that as his style. I don't know. Maybe I should stop talking for now. lolol

. I'd also like to know if anybody has an HD copy of Lifehouse at Pinkpop 2003. BY far their best concert ever
