from everythinglifehouse.com: Before alternative rock band Lifehouse takes the stage Wednesday night at Jobing.com Arena to open for Daughtry, they’ll perform in a much more intimate setting. Lifehouse Acoustic Set When: 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 28. Where: Sandbar, 9868 W. Northern Ave., Peoria. Admission: Free. Details: 623-877-6444, sandbaraz.com. The band will stop at Sandbar in Peoria earlier that day to play an acoustic set. It’s a thank-you show for dedicated fans. They’ll hit the stage at 5 p.m., right in the middle of the bar’s happy hour, perform for about a half hour and then hang out to chat with fans. Lifehouse put out their first major label release in 2000, called “No Name Face,” which featured hit singles “Hanging by a Moment” and “Everything,” and the latter track was used to promote the popular television show “Smallville.” Lifehouse released four subsequent albums, which also included radio hits “You and Me,” “First Time” and “Whatever It Takes.” The band’s latest effort, “Smoke and Mirrors,” came out in March and has since reached No. 2 on the Billboard U.S. rock charts. Sandbar teamed up with Movin 97.5 (KMVA) to host the concert. Guests can snack on $5 appetizers and sip on drinks that are $2 off from 3-7 p.m. during Sandbar’s happy hour. I'm GOING! *happy dance* I'm soo excited I can't contain it!

Alright, it wasn't what it said it was. I got there an hour early because I had no idea how many people would be there. So I wait til 5, then I stand to the side of the stage because of the front is, of course, reserved for people who won vip passes through a radio station I had no idea existed. So, 5 comes and goes. Jason and Rick finally arrive somewhere around 5:40. Then some guy gets on stage and tells us they're going to hold the meet and greet first, But guess what? Only the vip people get to meet them! So, they meet the vips for at least half an hour. And THEN they finally get on stage and they play 3 songs. Halfway Gone, First Time, and I believe You and Me. But, they were excellent and it was worth it. I was basically right in front of Rick, well to the side of him haha Here's First Time. Halfway Gone is uploading www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTUwRA-hnl4

Nice video I think that was kind of bogus advertising, but just seeing their acoustic performance would still be way worth it. It's just better to underpromise and overdeliver, not the reverse. lol

That's what Jason said about the weather, but after the first song he said it was a little windy. It WAS really windy- and even worse the next day. If you don't mind wind, I suppose we have good weather, haha. Back home it got to I think I heard 52 mph, the day after the concert...PHEW! Thanks. It was a great set. I enjoyed it It finally won my brother over. We were talking about it tonight with my uncle and he said Jason can sing just as good live as on the records. I'm like *score!* haha

I'm like *score!* haha Lol, that's gotta make you feel good. I have a friend over at the Daughtry board and she kinda liked LH but never had the albums or anything but after the show (she was at the same one as u) she became a fan. I kept telling her that they are amazing live and know how to rock. I was like yes, another convert .
