Lifehouse to Appear on One Life to Live

One Life to Live is keeping up its tradition of booking big name musical acts onto the show. Lifehouse, the outfit known for hits like "Hanging by a Moment" and "You and Me," will be performing on the show on April 13th. Look for them to take the stage at Llanview's hottest club, Ultraviolet.


They'll be singing their new single, "Halfway Gone," from the album Smoke and Mirrors.


This isn't Lifehouse's first time on the show. They performed "You and Me" back in 2006 during a romantic Valentine's Day dance between Michael and Marcie.


Lifehouse is one of many notable musical acts that have appeared on OLTL. Mary J. Blige, the Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, and (most recently) Snoop Dogg are just a few of the big names that have performed on the show.

HAHA they made a "lighthouse" joke! Some girl on the show was complaining about coming to the concert and she's like "they're not the backstreet boys. What kind of name is lighthouse anyway?" And the guy goes "It's LIFEhouse..."

I don't watch this soap much but I've seen a little bit of it, that girl that was complaining lost part of her memory or something and thinks she's a teenager again, hence the BSB reference, LOL.

They let the band play the whole song with no one talking over them! (unlike their last appearance). Band sounded great as usual. It was like a Conan or Leno performance, but with long stares between the actors thrown in during the song lol

PS, I loved the placement of all the mirrors and foggy smoke during the performance

Hey all, they were awesome as usual. I liked how they worked the song into the story line. I mean you got the meaning for sure. ;0)

I was FFwding through and saw a pic of them in the background in that club, lol! I was like, woo!!

I thought it was awesome how it actually looked like a live show on camera. And they sounded awesome! I loved it!! I love how toward the end of the song they showed Rick playing in the mirror with Jason in the foreground. I was very impressed!! I was afraid it would be a snippet with them off in the background while the characters were doing their thing. It was great! Since I was forwarding through, I missed the "lighthouse" joke, lol. I heard Backstreet Boys mentioned, so I must have just missed it lol.

I really liked this performance. One of the best I've seen on tv. I was watching it and my husband walks in and goes, "are you kidding me? They're on soaps now, too?!" Yes, babe, they are EVERYWHERE!! ;D
