Awwww.... I have personal reasons for missing Serge like crazy... style wise, he was the one who inspired me to teach myself bass, after the bass line in Only One. I only met him once in 2003, but it was fantastic. There was a certain maybe 90s feel to NNF and SCF... or maybe not 90s, just kind of a more indie sound... I agree, I admit I'm not a giant fan of the Geffen Commercial takeover. Makes me nostalgic, for sure. Thanks for posting and on a side note, I want to point out that for English being his second language, he has a pretty flawless accent am proud yaay

I don't really like all the cookie-cutter, repeat safe answers in interviews either. I mean on some level to be too political is to be a wimp. But almost everyone is so whatever. I'm actually really glad Lifehouse doesn't make political statements with their music or comment about it at all. This country is so polarized right now that whichever direction they go, they are risking offending up to half of their fan base. It's just not worth it. They are smart.
