Disarray, I LOVE that you posted your friends reaction! That's so cool! Converts! Lol, so great to hear her excitement bursting out of that message to you! Ya, I was bursting with pride when I read that! I had a feeling that would be her reaction, though. What's funny is that a mutual friend of ours on FB saw her post and wrote "oh no, not you too..." ;D

This is my favorite review so far. www.inthisweek.com/view.php?id=2287838After watching Lifehouse perfom at the E-center on April 21, it became clear that Soderberg was not exaggerating when it comes to a Lifehouse show. The band had the entire arena captivated, as both men and women were pumping their fists in the air and singing along to songs that they recognized. Lead singer Jason Wade pulled a confident rockstar move when he grabbed a cordless microphone and walked off the stage and down through the floor and up into the stands, singing his way to the top and letting groping hands and camera flashes follow him as he went. Back on stage, Soderberg and guitarist, Ben Carey were rocking out, jumping in various directions while drummer Ricky Woolstenhulme Jr. provided kick ass drum rhythms. Soderberg graced the audience with an introduction to his own vocal talents when he sang, "Wrecking Ball", while Wade hid backstage. Though it was a change from the super-sexy and somewhat raspy vocals of Wade, Soderberg proved that he can definitely carry a tune and left an impression on the crowd. Throughout the performance, Lifehouse rocked it harder than one would expect when listening to the albums, and it was easy to understand why the band wanted to prove that they were more than just a radio-friendly group of musicians. The band gave one hell of a show, one that left fans screaming and begging for more, and seemingly forgetting that Daughtry was supposed to be the hit of the night. When Daughtry did come on stage, it was a great performance, but after watching Lifehouse, nothing else could really compare and it seemed as though it would have been better to use Lifehouse as the headlining act. One day after the concert, "Smoke and Mirrors" is spinning its way on the iTunes playlist, and as good as the album is, it doesn't compare to Lifehouse live. Looks like Soderberg was right. Hopefully the band will be back in Salt Lake sooner than later. Until next time, Lifehouse.

This one's from Best Week Ever, but I wanted to share it. The person who wrote this was the one who interviewed them for "Martini Minute". The whole article is about the cruise in general, but she really fell in love with lifehouse lol: www.bestweekever.tv/2010-04-23/20-things-i-learned-on-vh1-best-cruise-ever/20 Things I Learned on the VH1 Best Cruise Ever20. Wait, You Guys: I Really Like Lifehouse. [Credit Will Byington] I’ll admit, I approached the cruise having never seen a single band participant live. I had no idea what to expect. What I found out was pleasantly surprising! Every show I went to was a lot of fun, and sometimes the music surpassed even my greatest of expectations. Such was the case with Lifehouse. I had interviewed Lifehouse a few weeks before the cruise and found them to be just about the friendliest people I had ever encountered. So you better believe I was OVERJOYED to learn that they were one of those bands that sounded better live than on their recording. Lead singer Jason Wade, along with drummer Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr., bassist Bryce Soderberg and guitarist Ben Carey brought their songs to life on stage in a way that few bands know how to do. I know. Lifehouse! Amazing. If you never get to see them live, put your hipster bullsh*t aside and get married to “You & Me.” Trust me, it’s worth it. 19. The Above Bulletpoint On This List Has Nothing To Do With Jason Wade’s Shoulders. Wait, sorry, it’s got like 20% to do with his shoulders. I want to make a Lifehouse in this man’s shoulders, if that is possible. Sorry, but it’s just a fact: 3. I Ended Up Feeling Like I Was Stalking Lifehouse. As much as I found myself drawn to Lifehouse, sheer coincidence combined with the size of the ship we were all trapped on meant that I would run into Lifehouse all. the. time. At first, it was awesome. Like “Hey Lifehouse! What are you guys up to? Let’s hang!!” and then it became like “Oh, no, it’s cool Lifehouse. You don’t have to invite me along. I’m not, like, a total Lifehouse stalker or anything. I’m gonna take a buffet in the pasta nap… I mean, nap in the buffet! Ignore me, Lifehouse.” By the time I ran into them at the American Airlines terminal in the Tampa Airport, hungover and dead inside, I could barely muster a round of low-fives before crawling my way through the airplane sleeve and into my emergency exit aisle seat. So Lifehouse, if you’re reading this: I was totally not stalking you on the cruise. Unless you wanted me to be, in which case, look outside of your window right now. ---- There is also a video on the website where the bands say thanks, and it includes lifehouse. I'm on my friends computer can having issues figuring out the link for the video itself though

Michelle Collins (from the Martini Minute interview) is so awesome and funny. I would have been stalking her while she was (supposedly not) stalking Lifehouse if I was on that cruise. LOL (Kill two birds with one stone. ) That review is hilarious....as is that last picture! I'm so making a banner out of that.

I really had no idea where to put this, so I'm putting it here for no particular reason. Found this video of Jason and Chris doing Y&M and Home. Someone recorded it from the video screen, so you can actually see them. It's adorable. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE GUM? www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQpdGLO9kQE

www.sacramentopress.com/headline/26556/Daughtry_Lifehouse_perform_at_Arco_ArenaFormer American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry brought his self-titled band to Sacramento Friday night, playing before a half-filled Arco Arena. Daughtry has toured nonstop since 2007, playing tracks from the self-titled debut album "Daughtry" and sophomore album "Leave This Town," released in 2009. The night began with an opening by rock band Cavo, whose song "Let It Go" was featured in the film "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Cavo entertained the early crowd, playing for about 30 minutes as fans continued to file in. You would have thought by the crowd reaction that Lifehouse, second in the lineup, was the headline act. Promoting its March 2010 record release of "Smoke and Mirrors," Lifehouse began with its newest single, "Nerve Damage." But it was classic back-to-back hits "First Time" and "Hanging By a Moment" that sent fans into a frenzy. Intoxicated by the soft melodies and soothing lyrics, the majority of fans spent the duration of Lifehouse's performance on their feet, arms pumping in the air. "You guys are looking so good out there," said Jason Wade, lead singer of Lifehouse. "We've always dreamt of playing in front of people like you in a place like this." After the 45-minute set, it was easy to forget there was one more act. Lifehouse left the stage to a standing ovation. Fans took advantage of a 20-minute stoppage between stage changes to visit concessions, but the delay was quickly forgiven when the lights were suddenly shut off and the Batman theme rang out. As their own music began to play, the shadowy silhouettes of Daughtry and his band members appeared behind a white curtain concealing the stage, intermittently flashing from normal size to large with the drum beat. In an instant, the curtain dropped and Daughtry wasted no time starting the show. The band played tracks such as "No Surprise," "Life After You" and "Ghosts of Me" off the album "Leave This Town," and lead singer Chris Daughtry played an acoustic solo of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight." Later, Daughtry talked about the inspiration for "Leave This Town," describing the difficulty of coming from a small town and making it big. "(My hometown) had one stop light, I had to pay for everything myself," he said. "I knew I'd have to leave to make something (of myself)." The music of Lifehouse and Daughtry were perfect compliments to each other. As a testament to their compatability, Chris Daughtry and Jason Wade have even collaborated by writing the song "Long Way" together, performed by Daughtry at the show. Daughtry, along with Lifehouse, will resume the tour through June 20. Daughtry will perform Wednesday May 12 on American Idol.
