i'm still waiting on my "we fucked up" gift we were promised when the Fan Club failed shortly after WWA came out. Those bastards just took our $40 and never delivered one thing! I'm still irritated about that!  I wonder if they still have records of who signed up. I don't remember if the administrative person in charge of this fan club just took off or was laid off, but I wouldn't be surprised if all the files are lost... |

if it means Lifehouse is coming to my nation then you can sign me up. If it's another fan club/street team/promo team/etc. I'll pass too. Too many failed attempts of that in the Lifehouse camp.. If it ends up being a success I'll join later... exaclty my thought:P |

Probably not exactly the right thread to post in, but I didn't want to create a new thread for this. I was just wondering: how many LH message boards are out there? Is there an official one? And what's the main difference between this board and lifehousenation?

you have the message board on the official site (which is kinda like a free-for-all guestbook type of thing, i just don't like the engine/how it operates, which is why I don't often post there) and then there's this one and Lifehouse Nation, nothing wrong with that place either... i don't think one of the boards jumps out very much against the others as we're all basically discussing the same things

The difference is in how long this board is already existing. Many fans that are on this MB, already posted on the LifehouseFans.com MB, before the site got closed and I think LifehouseNation has a lof of (of course not just) "newer" fans (newer as in not up to 10years  ). No MB is better or anything, it depends on you where you feel more comfortable with or maybe join both MBs and post on both, there are great fans on both MBs. For me it's a bit confusing on LHN and this MB feels like my "Lifehouse home" so I stay here and lurk sometimes on LHN around. ;D |

Hey, just want to throw my two cents in on this. I also just want to mention another fan forum that is available for people to try out/visit and that is www.EverythingLifehouse.com/community ... it's not super active, but its a fun little community too. EverythingLifehouse.com in general is a cool site because she has a great gallery of pictures and now that Lifehouse Media is gone, this is still one place where new fans can download B-Side songs and interviews and videos and stuff like that. There are also "goodies" like graphics and icons and banners available there. One thing that is a little different in the format of LifehouseNation.com is that it's easier for me to post pictures and videos and there is an awesomely funny thread called, "Laughhouse" that are a bunch of captioned pictures. They're hilarious!!! (Ok...I might do a LOT of those ... haha The official boards aren't "officially" linked anymore and are not moderated, so that could be frustrating at times with internet trolls and stuff. I always recommend this board to everyone, but especially to European fans because I think this has the strongest base of long time European fans. With the recent tour, this was like grand central station for everything about that tour. I don't see that AS much on the other boards and I think that's cool. I've been a member of all of them and I think each one is really cool in it's own way. |

I visit everythinglifehouse from time to time. Liked the little contest that was going on just before new year's. And I like the multimedia section. I will take a look at the laughhouse (great word! Who thougth of that?) thread. About the "official board": does anyone have a link? I can't seem to find it. I thought it was just the comment boxes on the official site, which are not really message boards. But Skrappy's post seems to suggest that there is an official board floating around somewhere... |

I would always make funny comments about Lifehouse pictures and eventually I started having a pretty good collection, so I started a thread and several people have now contributed. I think to some degree, LifehouseNation has a lot more joking around threads. It has been a lot of fun for me and made so many friends on there. It's a pretty light atmosphere. We had a thread where we tried to come up with the most outrageous misnomers for Lifehouse because they always get called the wrong thing. There was also a "fashion police" thread that was kind of funny and IDK... people goof around a lot on there, but there are also a lot of serious threads and nice song discussions. That's on this site, too I find though. On this site...the best thread ever is one about misheard lyrics. I think I peed my pants the first time I read through that. And I loved the song discussions we used to do on here from time to time. |
