Congratulations! and .... I don't think you'll miss it for long. Life begins AFTER high school for most  Cheers! My friends and I crashed valedictory dinner, that was a lot of fun.  It's just the lull between graduation and exams that's kind of got me pondering about what I'm going to do afterwards. Random rant, anyone with any ideas, please PM me... I feel like I'm running on fumes. I can't take living here when I feel so worthless. I don't understand how she can't see it. I barely mentioned working somewhere else today, living somewhere else, and there wasn't even discussion about it. It doesn't matter that I'm 25 and I can make my own decisions, it doesn't matter that I've been searching for months in this crappy little town and there's nothing there, it doesn't matter that I feel completely empty and useless. It just matters that I'm here for her, to wait on her, to be around when SHE wants me around, regardless of how I feel about it. I feel like I'm running on fumes, and I don't know how much longer I can do it.... Lara, I've been here, too. All I can recommend is just to do it anyway, since what you need seems to be a fresh beginning. Take control. Move out. Start over somewhere in another country, if that's your cup of tea. It's your life, not hers. Selfishness, IMO, is perfectly acceptable when it's for your own happiness. |

Am watching Arrested Development for the first time, and just noticed that there is a section of it (with Buster getting attacked by a sheep in a photo booth) that looks very familiar. Did someone here have it as their avatar?

I had a dream last night that I got an A on my Death and Burial Archaeology midterm exam and I got my exam back today and I got a 95%! I'm very pleased :-)

i just got the H1N1 vaccine! yay for being under 24 and therefore me being allowed to get AND have it be freeeeee!!! ..about time too. i went to four different places that "had it." needless to say, three of them did not.

That's pretty awesome. Dad, being a GP, is meant to have brought ours home, but none of us have gotten it except him and my grandpa (who qualifies, as a senior citizen). Yay for being a walking petri dish? ---- I was writing up my resume today, after having lost my last one through a major computer crash, and just realised that my high school transcript doesn't include the awards I've received this year. :\ I hope this means that they made an error that will be rectified later, and not that my performance this year has resulted in me receiving no awards. |

bah! tonight im going to a club where benny benassi is performing among others. and its a costume party and my boots broke, but i went to the cobbler said he can fix them by tonight and everything is going so well! AND its my friends 21st bday. good times are in store! hope everyone has a happy and safe halloween!!!!

I just threw down a verbal gauntlet with my stupid rude stepfather and I'm pretty sure I won. My feelings of happy are currently squashed by the fear of what my mother will say when she gets home and the fact that I had to leave my sister behind when I left the house (don't panic, she's 19, I didn't leave a child home alone, lol)
