^ tz tz tz ;D We had birds when Tiger was little (Rocky, Rambo and Conny), of course he wanted to eat them, but we put their cages so high that he could jump for them, but don't get to them.  And he tried really hard, once I caught him haning on a window that was near the cages and he didn't knew what to do because there was no way to move on or away from it The birds never cared for him and he never did any harm to them. |

Well, I LOVE cats and these kitties are gorgeous! I'm so happy for you, Minka.
Our cat ate a bat once, but the bat was in the house so it was asking for it.

Our cat ate a bat once, but the bat was in the house so it was asking for it. Poor bat  We had once a bat in the house and Tiger was palying around with it, we threw a blanket on it before he could harm this poor little thing and brought it outside. Francisco, your Jason is adorable  I love red cats and wanted actually a red curly Selkirk, but it's hard to find red Selkirks in Austria. I found the cattery Bamboo Garden and fell in love with Fabien, I like chocolate and cinnamon colored cats and Fabien and Beauty expected kittens so I decided for them and am really happy to get my Babies. Aaaaww, Scooter is also such a cutie my Tiger was also a Persian (but a european persian - means with "more" nose) The long hair from Wooly is from her grandmother, as you can see in the pictures of the parents their're both shorthair) the grandmother is a longhair Selkirk Rex. |

Everyone has such beautiful cats! I wish I had a good one of my girl to post. I'm actually a fan of bats - they eat a lot of insects - but they don't really belong in my house! I hear them scritching around in the walls at night, but they don't usually come in. We're not POSITIVE the bat was dead. We found it on the floor - motionless - and scooped it and and dumped it on the porch. An hour later it was gone, so I prefer to think that it recovered and flew away - sadder and wiser, but alive to eat more insects.
