The song "If U Seek Amy" by Britney Spears do you think it's clever or childish?
I think it's honestly clever to create a song like that. She took a huge risk with the song, and funny to see how people react to it.
Either people think it's really about someone named amy or people wanting to f...... her.

I think its terribly clever and its a really fun song. the radio stations here take the K off, so its 'if you see amy'...takes the pervy fun out of it, lol.

What? Who said it was a bad song? I'm saying that I've never heard "this" song - the Britney Spears song to which the thread refers - but that the title reminds me of SoCo's If You C Jordan (a song which I HAVE heard and like). Since I haven't heard the Spears song, I wasn't sure if it was a blatant ripoff or not, and was hoping that someone could tell me. What do you think?

But basically during the verses of the song its about her looking for this girl named amy. then during the chorus she sings "love me,hate me say what you want about me, cuz all the boys and all the girls are begging to if u seek amy." Which basically spells F... me when said fast |

Ah, I see. Well, If You C Jordan is "a bitter anthem" about a high school bully, so probably not a ripoff.
