Presale ticket buyers got the following e-mail a bit ago. It doesn't say anything about Matt opening...so really that's still uncertain. " Dear Ticketholder,
We just wanted to send each of you a quick note regarding the upcoming rescheduled dates for the Jack's Mannequin tour. We have just received word that the dates listed below are confirmed. We have been told that the rest of the dates from the Farther From Earth Tour will be rescheduled for later this year (after The Fray tour.) For those of you who hold presale tickets for the San Francisco and Denver rescheduled dates and would like to return your tickets, please email mailroom@gomerch.com and your return will be processed within 7-10 business days.
For Richmond, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Austin, and Columbia, your tickets will still be applicable and the terms of the ticketing agreement will still be valid.
For all postponed dates not mentioned, you will receive a full refund in 7-10 business days.

darnit.
i considered a trip up to poughkeepsie but the show's at marist which i think is where lh played last year (that day they did 2 shows in one day and we were at the 2nd one in the pouring rain) which is funny b/c then matt would be going there two years in a row. anyway, i remember them being super strict about non-students not being allowed to go but maybe i'll look into it if others are interested.

Katelyn and Maureen....I'm not even sure it's a certainty that Matt's WITH JM yet on the 10 spring dates that survived. All of the JM dates were taken OFF of Matt's site and none have re-appeared yet. It's best just to wait and see.

matt with sugarland, that would be fun. i haven't seen sugarland yet but would really like to. interestingly, they do a kickass cover of COGH at some of their shows and there's even a live version on their latest album. i wonder if they would do the song with matt or anything, that'd be really cool.

Here's an update, as I know it...about what's going on with Matt: 1) He will be on Kidd Kraddick in the morning (Friday, 2/27). You can find the link here and stream video live (I think - haven't tried it yet) www.kiddlive.com/Article.asp?id=1186248&spid=259932) It is uncertain still about whether or not Matt will play some of the April/May dates with Jack's Mannequin. If you look at Ticketmaster, they think YES. And, they've added a New Orleans show that I haven't seen before at the House of Blues on 5/9/09 -- uh-hmm.....Karla! 3) It looks like Matt IS going to open for Sugarland on about 14 dates between May and October. omg. bret michaels (from rock of love, lead singer of poison, who matt makes fun of/dedicates a song to every show, you know him) is on ellen the same day at matt. hilarious. i hope they get to chat backstage so matt has some new jokes for the next tour, haha.

I just have to say that Matt is way too adorable, lol! I love him. I can't tell if the smile he has when she mentions Bret Michaels is just because he's on camera or the fact that she mentions him...
And did anyone notice how TALL Ellen is?? I mean...I thought Matt was really tall...and she is almost as tall as he is. I never would have guessed she was that tall, lol. Or maybe it's just the camera angle, hahha
