I am beyond frustrated right now. WAY beyond. There is a concert I really wanted to go to about an hour and a half away from here. It was only $18, and there were only 1,000 tickets available. Plus, there was a student and faculty presale (it was taking place at a college), so I knew I'd have to be sitting right here to get them when they went onsale. They were supposed to go onsale at 11:15 am, and I had a class at 11:30. I got everything prepared for me to be able to run out the door right after I got the ticket. 11:15 came, and it wouldn't let me buy the ticket. I tried for 5 minutes...before I HAD to leave...and it never let me buy it. I was really annoyed when I left and ran/walked to make it to class.
So I just got back, and what do you know? They are sold out. I am sooooo annoyed and disappointed about this. I realize now I just should have skipped my class to get the ticket. Gah...all I can do now is keep checking ebay. Why couldn't they have just put them onsale ON TIME, at the time they said they would?? I guess doing what you say you'll do isn't as important to some people...

daniel, what happens if you don't get the visa?
aww breann, i'm sorry. :/ i hope you'll find a ticket somewhere else, like ebay.. and it won't cost too much. is this for david cook?

Yes, as a matter of fact it is! How did you ever guess? lol. I have posted on one of his message boards that I needed one as well. Apparently they went onsale an hour later than I thought...but it didn't make a difference, because I still made it back too late (by about 5 minutes!!). They sold out in 10 minutes! Ugh. lol.
Just curious...does anyone else happen to be going to one of his shows? It looks like they are selling out extremely fast.

I know...it was crazy. Every show place is multiple hours away, or students only. It's frustrating.

Wow, I haven't been on here in forever. So, today I found out my work is eliminating second shift, which happens to be the shift I work on. Rather than pay me glorious unemployment which I desperately want so I can focus on school, my work has decided to put me on third shift. Goodbye life. Anyway, February already sucks for me, I'm home sick from work and I have a stupid history paper to write, blah!

Gah!
I found a ticket for the concert I really want to go to on ebay, but the starting bid is $60 and the Buy It Now is $100. Grrr!!! They are going to be making quite a profit...$42 or more!! I can't even afford $60 at the moment, and the bidding is bound to go way higher. This is so frustrating...he's going to be 1.5 hours away and I will not be there!! It makes no logical sense, lol.
