I went to the dentist today and got 3 teeth fixed..... my entire right side of the face is frozen and I can't feel a thing. I feel like I'm drooling but I'm not.. HELP  lolllll aww I hope you feel better soon! I just got a tooth pulled two days ago, and I hate that feeling of feeling like you're drooling!  my lip was also numbed. which feels funny and I almost made it bleed because I was biting it without even knowing. it will go away soon, so just be patient. they seriously need to make a medicine that makes it go away |

yes skrappy, it was named after Stanley. good news though. i went car shopping this weekend with my grandma (who was generous enough to help me out and put down the down payment) and since she is really good friends with the main manager, we got an AMAING deal. I ended up leaving with a 2009 nissan altima, just the base level, but slightly decked out with nicer options (like keyless ignition!) so overall, i suppose this couldnt have happened at a better time. And my new car has air conditioning and a heater! (which, sadly, stanley lacked...)

i just found out that a friend from home lost control of his car on the ice and was killed this afternoon. i'm just in shock. he was seriously one of the funniest and nicest guys i knew. i'm just asking for people to send their prayers to him and his family. thanks.

Awww...sorry Maureen! That's sad and hard to comprehend. My best friend from grade school was killed in an industrial accident in her first year of college. Like you said, so much potential unfulfilled.  Forgive the transition, though.... Hey Allie--do you have a name for your new car yet? Thinking maybe you should get some input from the B-Siders--the name Allie's car contest.... I vote for ... Storm-- it has a protective theme "walk on water, catch you when I fall" |

Maureen, I'm really sad to hear that. I do send all my strength and good thoughts that way. and a hug for you *hugs*
Allie, I'm sorry to hear about your car, but I'm glad that you are okay. Poor Stanley though. I remember how proud you were when you got it. *RIP Stanley* .. But I hope that your new car will be just as good a friend to you.
