ugh i hate those types of interviews... i remember when i was interviewing with the company im working for right now. It was a phone interview and I was at my workplace in Spain receiving the call on my SkypeIn on my work computer (the CFO was walking around in the office the entire time and there were still some people working). The connection was really bad and they kept asking me to repeat myself because they couldnt hear me so I had to talk really loudly which was very uncomfortable seeing how I was at work and there were still some people around (i didnt have a phone at home thanks to the stupid spanish phone company) and then in the middle of the interview the call DROPPED.....AHHHHHHH... Luckily they called me back and we could somewhat continue the interview. Anyway I got the job but that was really nerve wrecking.

it's actually a professional internship in conservation biology with disney. i'd be working in Animal Kingdom doing behavioral observations on endangered species, some field work, and a bunch of other stuff. i'm a big disney freak and the research i'd be doing is pretty much exactly what i'm looking for so it's a pretty ideal position for me. it sounds really cool but the program is obviously really competitive. i'm not sure if i have a chance at getting the position or not, but i figured i'll never know if i don't try. now i really need to start working on my back up plan, haha.
klein, that interview sounds like it was awful (but at least you got the job!). thank goodness i didn't have any technical difficulties, i was nervous enough as it was.

keep us updated on the job katelyn! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! It sounds like a really fun job (although it would suck to lose you as a concert buddy if you have to move to florida )

how horrible kathandra! how in the world did it take them 3 hours to respond?! aw im sorry.... but at least your car isnt totaled and youre ok! Very true. My car is fixable. My head hurts ever since. When I was at the hospital that night it felf funny like numb, my right arm did too but I couldn't pin point how they felt. I was still in shock or what ever. I might go to urgent care after work today to report it and get it checked. The doctor Monday night did x-rays on my shoulder and neck where I was having the pain and didn't find anything wrong but a spain so that is good. Just wish my head would stop hurting though. I went to the insurance company and they said I can go ahead and get my car fixed when ever I am ready. I want to clean out my car really well first though. I like doing that when I take it anywhere. Plus, i need to some how get the stuff out of my trunk... I can crawl in through the seats if I can figure out how to get them down. They need room to hammer out the dent in my trunk latch and where the spare tire goes. Just wish non of this happened.
