I think Mirjam Timmer (Mir) is my favorite female voice, then Missy Higgins/Kendall Payne/Alli Rogers follow closely behind.

Sarah McLachlan's vocals, how wonderful they may be, aren't the main reason I like her music. It's actually the care and thought she puts into her music and how much she stands for it, that makes her music appear on a higher level for me.

^^^ I agree with you there; although the vocals play a HUGE part in the liking for me, I also love the fact that she is so charitable and just seems like an all around nice person!

I absolutely love Sarah McLachlan. Her vocals and songwriting are amazing. Except Lifehouse, she was the only one to inspire me to write. The song was Possession.

What do you guys think of the new song/video, U Want Me 2? I love her voice and the video, but am still a little confused as to whether I like the lyrics of the song. *lol*
