virtual ticket.. it is the online purchasing of pre-sale tickets, i think, basically (through the fan club).. but i guess you don't really have to buy one/go there, just indicate that you might, and you'll be granted access or something.. it's in one of those quotes that someone posted.

I think what she meant by "virtual ticket" is that when you buy a ticket to Lifehouse (through ticketmaster or wherever it's being sold, not through presale) that you get a promotional code as a "free pass" to the Fan club site (without the option for presales or the little membership kit). Does that make sense? It's a bit hard to explain..

so, this probably means that they'll be playing seated venues...and not the smaller ones? cause otherwise this whole ticket thing wouldn't matter. that really upsets me, if true. i'm sick of these big places, plus tickets are more expensive.

I know! I went to buy a ticket to see Chris Daughtry at the CA State Fair in Sacramento and they are $59! $59!! WTH is Chris Daughtry to charge so much at the freaking state fair? I saw Lifehouse there last year for $20!! so, this probably means that they'll be playing seated venues...and not the smaller ones? cause otherwise this whole ticket thing wouldn't matter. that really upsets me, if true. i'm sick of these big places, plus tickets are more expensive.

I wonder if they really will on their headlining tour. They haven't been able to sell out the mid-level venues completely, so i don't see how they'd sell out the even bigger venues. So I wouldn't worry too much yet

So I wouldn't worry too much yet yeah, i was thinking that too...but who knows what geffen is thinking. maybe they put them with GGD to attrached more people or something...don't know. i want them to be successful...but i really want the small venues again.

I'm kind of going off on a tangent here, but WHY NOT? What is wrong with people? Why isn't Lifehouse THE most popular rock band out there today? It's so frustrating to see this incredible talent so under appreciated and have to fight to get into the top 10 and sell tickets! I really just don't get it. Rant over. Sorry about that! I wonder if they really will on their headlining tour. They haven't been able to sell out the mid-level venues completely, so i don't see how they'd sell out the even bigger venues. Because it's not about talent anymore. Lifehouse needs some big scandal to give them street cred. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I wish them all the success they deserve, but I kinda like that they aren't too high profile.. makes it more intimate, more realistic, and importantly it makes them more approachable/accessible.

^God no. i don't mind them being not as popular as some other bands. especially cause mass groups of people wouldn't be as loyal as us...and they get scary. i.e. the fray concert.

Because it's not about talent anymore. pretty much... sex appeal Only way to explain how some people are even allowed to make "music" Hmm, I was just looking at old posts, and I don't necessarily think that the whole club thing means seated venues. Maybe they just think presale will attract people. I know with some artists, tickets go out of sale within like 20 minutes. Maybe with the new fanbase they think that will happen with LH so a presale will help certain fans. Or atleast I hope so because concerts are so much cooler when they're smaller and standing room only. But I might be wrong, I dunno. Don't get me wrong, I wish them all the success they deserve, but I kinda like that they aren't too high profile.. makes it more intimate, more realistic, and importantly it makes them more approachable/accessible. I agree. Although I want people to realize how freaking amazing they are, I like the fact that they are somewhat under wraps. It allows them to be able to be more intimate with their fanbase and kind of connect more. Like honestly, if they were mega huge, I don't know if they would be able to stay after shows to talk to people, or the message boards would be so swamped that they might not even check them (and later thank them ). Ah, I'm rambling, sorry lol

Ya, I kind of like the way they are now, but I wonder what they want. I wonder if they get frustrated that they make this amazing music, perform it flawlessly live, and don't get the recognition they deserve. I keep thinking of that comment Jason made in the lengthy article about Who We Are about this record taking them to the next level in their career.
