I was in Chili's last night and first time came on as we were leaving and I yelled "LIFEHOUSE!" (Like I always do, it's not weird) and everyone looked at me. Then I made everyone I was with sit outside and listen to it until it was over  |

haha i was at a diner last night with my family and they had the radio on but you couldn't even hear it because it was so loud in there. at one point i could kind of just barely hear music and i said, i think this is lifehouse. my mom gave me a weird look cause she didn't even know they had music playing. it got a little quieter and i was able to hear the last note of the song and it was first time. i was pretty proud of myself.

I had to dig up this old thread because I can't stop smiling! I had my tv on in the background, it was the finale of So You Think You Can Dance -- and they played FWYA in the background! It was an odd song to use for a montage of the 3rd place person, but still... ;D
edit:
ok I'm off my FWYA high...the jonas brothers just performed on that show. I checked the tv ratings for this show, it gets ~9 million viewers, and since this is the finale, there are probably many more viewers! Yay for Lifehouse ;D

i heard it too! i'm not really good at keeping up with tv series in the summer but i was watching tonight. when they played the first note of the song my reaction was *gasp* "lifehouse!", my mom and sister both looked at me like i was crazy. it was cool to hear though.

yeah i was excited. and it played for Katee's goodbye, which i liked, but i was sad cause i really wanted her to win. but if she didn't win then i'm glad josh did.

LOL, they have also used "Storm" on that show!! When they played it it was a couple years back, and I was like storm!! and my mom was like HUH??! and I was like it's Lifehouse! and she was like oh, okay, haha. I too, have heard LH in chilli's, but it was DGB, and my friends were like KARLA!! IT'S LIFEHOUSE!!! Then, I was like oh, it IS! ha! |

great thing is that Katie records this, so this is on a DVR in my house....I'll check it out.
also, hubby and I were at some friend's house tonight.... and Y&M came on the radio, blaring across the back yard. It was odd....because probably it's my least favorite LH song b/c of radio overplaying it -- but I got such and warm and fuzzy feeling to hear a familiar voice. Strange.....

I too, have heard LH in chilli's, but it was DGB, and my friends were like KARLA!! IT'S LIFEHOUSE!!! Then, I was like oh, it IS! ha! i head DGB in islands (which is similar to a chili's i suppose)! maybe they have a set cd or something for those sorts of restaurants and somehow our guys managed to get on. i will still never forget when i was walking by anchor blue in the mall and i heard "SES" inside and rushed in to listen. or when i was in vons and "quasimodo" came on as i was doing my grocery shopping. nice random things. i mean really though, how do they get on these?! |

This morning in the car as I was taking my son to school, I heard a TNT commercial with Whatever It Takes in the background. It was a commercial advertising the start of the season for the TNT series "The Closer" and "Raising the Bar" -- don't know if they use the song on the TV spots as well, but you can clearly hear it on their advertisement for radio.
