In the Future Rockstar of America thing, Jason says why they went with the show carnival theme for the artwork for the album

"Basically, we really just kind of enjoy that style of art work. We're big fans of like the old side show, freak show circus theme. And you know if there was any meaning behind it, I think that, as a band who's starting out when you have a hit and a successful record, everyone wants to kind of categorize you and put you in a box. And I feel like over the years we've kind of felt that pressure to sound a certain way or you know be a certain style. And I think that on this record we really feel comfortable with where we're at, and we're the most comfortable we've been with our line up. You know, we had a couple band members leave the band a couple years ago. So, we feel like we're in a good place, and with the side show thing, we just kind of felt like at time we almost felt like circus characters, you know, but we've grown a lot of the last couple years and we're really comfortable with who we are."
