Anybody watch their performances yesterday? Just wondering what songs they did if someone knows.

Thanks! I was hoping since Brian Fallon was involved too that they might do J’s song he just wrote with him.

We have the official cover for Head Movies here: I think I'm a fan... very intriguing colour combo.

Head Movies is now out and it is an interesting sound but I like it so far (4 songs in)

Listened to Head Movies for few rounds now. I think this might be my fav album from them. This album has more 'indie' feel to it and I love the album for that.
My favs at the moment are Manzanita, Head Movies, After the Glowin (how can you not love the guitar riffs), Some Kind of Magical and Bon Voyage.

It would be a nice second album. Perfect sequel to Sweet Delirium (but the 1st one is still better)

I've listened to this one a few times, and I think I like it about equally to Born In a State. The mixing and mastering is so low-fi and muddy that I find it a little bit hard to listen to, but the songs are very creative and they took quite a few risks with the arrangements; After the Glowin' and Daydreams are standouts for me in terms of pushing the Ozwald envelope, and Steve and J's songwriting for that matter. The latter has a real '80s sound, and I agree with snowfist that the guitar riffs in Glowin, if it weren't for the tinny sound, would make it such a delight to listen to. I adore the circusy vibe to the melody, and the interplay of keys and guitar. It's been the song I hear the most in my head when I'm going about my day the last week. The songwriting feels like an extension of Delirium, in particular Scattered, Bewilderness, and Bon Voyage; this makes sense as it was written last summer, not long after the first record came out (and before they wrote BIAS). I think Hollow Queen could be an Elliott Smith track from XO; it's not my favourite, but still cool to hear. I was detecting a melody in the chorus of Flashes in the Light that sounded familiar from Jason's voice, and I realized that when he sings "in your eyes", it's the same tune as the second-last time he sings "sunshine" in Wash! It Was is an eerie, half-soothing and half-creepy song that's a very interesting finale. La Tempestad took a listen for me to warm up to, but the chorus is so lush, and the country vibe goes well with some of the stuff from the early 2010s (Near Life Experience, Rolling Off the Stone, Clarity). I really enjoy this one a lot. The first singles (Manzanita and Head Movies) are probably the most mainstream and normal songs here, but I have to compare them to Technicolour Sky and still prefer that one, so I tend to enjoy the deeper tracks on this album than I do those. Overall, I seriously wish it was released in a less compressed, low-fi filter sort of quality, because I've been finding it hard to come back to as it is. The songs are great and I'm glad Steve and Jason are enjoying making this music, but just like the last few songs they've released (Big Bright Day, lookin' at you) it only makes me pine for the next Lifehouse record more, knowing Jude would step in and make sure it sounds as it should. My favourites as of a week into listening to it are After the Glowin, Daydreams, Bon Voyage, and La Tempestad.

From the new reddit that Yuliya brought to our attention in the Lifehouse 2020 section I saw that they already have one confirmed song for the Fall for Ozwald called P.H. Dean. They said it will be pretty weird so should be interesting how it sounds

I just saw a new song called Here I Go Again from Ozwald on Spotify. I'm surprised there was no announcement on there Facebook or Instagram but looks like this will be teaser for what the next album will sound like.

The song is a cover (and this I really don't like because of the vocals). About the Lifehouse status, the lack of assurance is painful. It really looks like Jason doesn't care for the band anymore for a looooong time since the looking for summer tour. An announcement of the end would be less painful then this. A farewell tour or whatever.

Ok I admit: maybe 'for Polly Anna'is a good tune... Now seriously. I'm really excited about Øzwald because of this version of Georgiana.

WOW I never in a million years thought I'd hear this song see the light of day. It never felt like Lifehouse, but it sure feels like Ozwald. Love the vocal repetition in the 'nothing's gonna change' and the falsetto throughout!!

This might just be the first Øzwald record I pick up. Wasn’t a fan of the other stuff but hopefully there’s more b-sides mixed in here. Very nicely done with “For Polly Anna”
