Robert silence is an answer too in my book..so in that sense, I agree. Btw: I haven't seen any new songs by Jason popping up..is that just me? Noticed the same thing, nothing for over two months now. Not sure what that means, gotta wait and see I guess.

Well I replied to one of Bryce's throwback pictures he posted on his FB with Jason and Rick, like "so....are you guys dead again?" followed by a bit of a rant... didn't get a reply but hopefully he saw it. I've kind of given up on this band ever fully getting back together. What a shame. Couldn't care less about KOMOX to be honest. Unfortunately, I completely agree. It was actually pretty depressing going back thru the box of stuff I received from the Out of the Wasteland pre-order or whatever & just realizing there is outwardly no hope here anymore. ...and yeah, sorry guys, I just don't care at all about KOMOX.

I actually like Komox's music..obviously, it doesn't do the same for me as LH but it's quality stuff. but each their own. I can get looking at the pre-order stuff depresses you though..The album is actually good, especially the bonus tracks. They could have promoted the s*** out of it.

Weird, today I heard Hurricane on the radio for the first time ever! Lifehouse isn't common on Canadian stations, but it was in a store that has their own Spotify, and I've heard HBAM at the same place before. Only other business I can think of is Sears Canada, which has Blind and Falling In on frequent rotation (not sure why those two specifically but I won't complain). Agreed celticflower , they definitely could have promoted the album more. I often wonder how much it costs to have a record appear on the rotating carousel at the top of the iTunes store homepage, and theirs was one of the first ones during its release week. They did a lot of touring of radio stations to play Hurricane, and performed it on one show (I think USA Today?) but that was it. I remember when they did promotion for S&M (arguably the most Geffen has ever backed them and the most promo they've ever done), they played Halfway Gone on a billion shows. One for the Pain was actually released as a single at some point in 2015, at least in Europe, complete with a shortened radio version that omits the solo near the end (I have the radio edit CD if anyone wants to hear!), but it got *zero* promotion. In the US, they released that VEVO clip for Runaways 'dedicated to graduates' or something like that, which was cool but it never went beyond that. I had hoped it was going to be their next single, because it totally could have worked on the radio (and the live version was fire let's be real). Tours take months to plan, so when Nickelback pulled the plug on the summer 2015 tour there was no time to get anything else together. I can only imagine that during that time they each kept busy by either writing songs (J) or working on KOMOX (Bryce), so after the Europe/Asia/Oceania tour in late 2015, it makes sense that they already had their heads into what they were doing all summer and wanted to keep going with it. I really wish Jason would return to social media, he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. Maybe he just had enough of the fanfare for a little bit...

tours take months to plan, yes..., but 1) if the only tour they planned to do in the US was as an opener for Nickelback, then I can't even really feel bad for them that the tour got cancelled. They should have had a headlining tour lined up after the Nickelback stuff.
2) it's been how many years since the album came out? Plenty of time to put together even a small tour to play the new songs.
Anyway, I'm starting to sound like a broken record...I'm just sad about how the band ended (I guess at this stage it's safe to say it's over). They deserved something better than simply fading out into obscurity and so did we, the fans. Who knows, maybe in a few years they'll put out an other album or something, but I'm not holding my breath.

Robert one for the pain was a single? not in The Netherlands as far as I know (or it got the zero promotion you speak of lol..) wow.. the album wasn't even available in stores here. klein : I read your comments on Bryce's page and I agree. the lady with the grudge against nickelback for simply cancelling the tour: S*(* happens ..whether he had the vocal surgery or not, I really don't care. They cancelled, get over it. It is not the sole reason why there is no lifehouse right now..Chad is not responsible (sorry, I could rant about this for ages:p) (btw: I cannot find that message on Bryce's page anymore.perhaps that's just me. I also agree on what you say here about the headlining tour. Jason moved to mars, I am pretty sure;-) hahaha.

celticflower Ah my mind got jumbled, it was actually Holland. There was a radio edit CD I found dated 2015 that omitted the guitar solo at the end, going from the quiet bit with the high-pitched beep straight into "run away from this madness..."

As a basist he is nothing special and way too hipster in my opinon. Serge was the real deal but it's a shame that it just didnt worked out with him and Jason.
